After raising three kids in this beautiful home, the sellers decided it was time to pass the torch to a new family who would hopefully love it as much as they did. Fortunately the perfect buyers swooped it up pre-market with plenty of warm weather left to enjoy swimming in the beautiful in-ground pool and fall football the backyard. Bittersweet is the perfect word to describe this sale, as I will also miss the sellers of this home, but I am happy (and jealous) they now get to enjoy year-round golf in sunny Florida.

I was fortunate to team up with my colleague, Jennifer Whitney, on this one. The seller and original owner of this meticulously cared for home at 1066 Amber Ct in West Chicago, was referred to me by an old friend. This friend lives over 1000 miles away and still thought of me to help his mom sell her house. The power of social media for keeping in touch with friends near and far is sure an amazing thing, no matter how much we can dislike social at times.

Truth be told, not every sale is worthy of a “Congratulations to my seller! So excited!” Sometimes homes sell for the exact opposite reason. I feel beyond fortunate to have been trusted to handle the most sensitive of home sales. I always strive for a heart-centered approach for my clients. Although there will always be the unexpected hiccups with selling I house, I do everything in my power to make it as seamless as possible.
