OUTSIDE

  • Check and repair caulking around windows and doors

  • Clean leaves and debris from gutters

  • Check gutters for damage

  • Drain fuel from summer yard tools

  • Check snow removal equipment

  • Shut off outdoor water source before freezing temps

INSIDE

  • Replace furnace filter according to manufacturer's instructions

  • Clean and service fireplace and chimney

  • Clean clothes dryer and exhaust duct and space under/behind dryer

  • Check outlets for loose-fitting plugs or receptacles

  • Inspect smoke and CO2 detectors and test monthly

  • Inspect and recharge fire extinguisher have HVAC system inspected and cleaned
